NFL Predictions (Cliffs Notes version)

Just because I want it to be on record before the season starts, here is the Cliffs Notes version of my NFL predictions. No commentary, just 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in each division, playoff predictions, and Super Bowl prediction. I might go into more detail in another post if I find time.

NFC West: 1. Seattle, 2. St. Louis, 3. Arizona, 4. San Francisco
NFC South: 1. Carolina, 2. New Orleans, 3. Tampa Bay, 4. Atlanta
NFC North: 1. Chicago, 2. Detroit, 3. Minnesota, 4. Green Bay
NFC East: 1. New York Giants, 2. Washington, 3. Dallas, 4. Philadelphia

NFC Playoffs: Seattle, Carolina, Chicago and New York win the divisions, Washington and Dallas get the Wild Cards

AFC West: 1. Denver, 2. Kansas City, 3. San Diego, 4. Oakland
AFC South: 1. Indianapolis, 2. Jacksonville, 3. Tennessee, 4. Houston
AFC North: 1. Cincinnati, 2. Pittsburgh, 3. Baltimore, 4. Cleveland
AFC East: 1. New England, 2. Miami, 3. Buffalo, 4. New York Jets

AFC Playoffs: Denver, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and New England win the divisions, Pittsburgh and Miami get the Wild Cards

I predict that Manning finally gets to the Super Bowl this year. But Eli, not Peyton.

Super Bowl: New York Giants vs. Cincinnati Bengals

NFL Champions: The Cincinnati Bengals

Now's your chance to ridicule me.

Still no time to blog

Busy week at work, I haven't gotten much sleep, and, um, the Cardinals were in town, so it might still be a while before this blog gets back into the swing of things.

I have alot I want to blog about too... more on George Allen, ABC's right-wing propaganda, Tom Delay's thoughts on Dancing with the Stars (really).... November elections, Tom Petty, all the stuff I mentioned in my last post....

and I want to make my NFL predictions. Unfortunately, I don't think I will have time before the Thursday night game to get my predictions on record before the season starts. A teaser.... I will not be predicting the Houston Texans to win it all.

Hang in there, my loyal readers!

Busy Day

Just wanted to touch base so anyone reading this won't think I've abandoned my blog. I was in Chicago for the long weekend, and it's going to be an extremely busy day at work. I know I shouldn't promise to blog about certain topics, because when I promise I never do... but anyway, here's what you can expect on The Nose Knows over the next couple days.

* A post about CNN and its coverage of the Crocodile Hunter
* A post about airport security and baggage handling
* A post or two about the Cardinals (they're in Washington right now)

So that's what you can expect (unless I'm unreliable about these things, which is a strong possibility). But right now, I'm too busy to blog. Until then!
