Sorry for the infrequent updates

There are some things going on in my life that I kind of need to get under control and they are interfering with my ability and desire to update as frequently as I had been. Don't worry, I'm not dying or anything, and I might talk about a couple of these things on my blog when the time is right.

Anyway, all I have for today is that I was finally right about Ace getting kicked off Idol. I was wrong about the other two in the bottom three.... well, I said Paris was on the bubble. But no one expected Chris so I don't feel too bad for missing that one.

Tom Cruise and Brooke Shields

Two arch-enemies have daughters on the same day... Is it just me, or does this just sound like the backstory to a comic book? Like the kids are going to grow up to be Superwoman and Lexa Luthor or something?

The alternative, of course, is that they grow up and fall in love, causing all sorts of friction between the two families. Like Romeo and Juliet. Or, in this case, Juliet and Juliet.

Idol Speed Blogging

Last night....

Katherine, Paris, and Elliott were very good.
Chris and Taylor, just ok.
Ace, not terrible but very creepy, in a I wouldn't let teenage girls get very close to him kind of way.
Kellie was terrible.

Safest: Chris, Taylor, and Katherine.
On the bubble: Paris
Predicted bottom three:
Elliott (the man gets no love from the public), Ace and Kellie.

Going home, I'm predicting this for the third week in a row, Ace.

I have returned

I'm back from my long weekend trip to the Midwest and the blogging should be getting back to normal. The main purpose of my trip was to go see the Cardinals' new stadium in St. Louis. In honor of the

Three Home Runs

Albert Pujols hit the day I was there, here are three pictures of the new stadium.
