I was going to make a post about why this whole Kerry controversy is a bunch of bullshit, completely manufactured by Rove and the Republicans, yet the Democrats botched the response, but it's late and I'm tired, so I'll just link to Kos. Kos pretty much sums up my thoughts anyway.
My predictions don't change. Dems take the House but lose the Senate.

Like the guy said, he botched the joke , although I'm not sure what joke would have been acceptable along these lines. But he did the right thing by apologizing and taking responsibility, unlike others.
