Jazz Fest Lives

The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is continuing, as planned, in 2006. It takes place every year, the last weekend in April and the first weekend in May. I was there in 2002, 2003, and 2004. I missed last year, and I'm not sure I'll make it this year, but it's great to see that the show is going on in the wake of Katrina. Bands haven't been announced yet, so more to come later.

In other music festival news, Bonnaroo has a hell of a line-up this year. Raidohead, Tom Petty, Beck, Elvis Costello, Bonnie Raitt, Dr. John, Matisayahu, Robert Randolph, Medeski, Martin, and Wood, etc.... It's expensive, and I'm not sure I'll make it to that either, but perhaps.
