More on the Election

The Reublicans no longer have absolute power. For that reason alone, the election was a success. The Democrats have the House. The Senate would be nice, but the most important thing is that checks and balances have been restored.

The Virginia and Montana Senate races are obviously the two that matter most right now. Virginia won't be over for a long time.

But the other big news.... my friend and former classmate Gordon Hintz got elected to the Wisconsin General Assembly.

And, at least I assume, this is the first time an Air Guitar Champion has ever been elected to the Wisconsin General Assembly.

There he is. The representative of Wisconsin's 54th Assembly district.

My friend Mike Jacobs was reelected as the representative of Georgia's 80th district.

As far as I know, he was never an air guitar champion. But there is an incriminating video from high school of him impersonating Fred Schneider. And a weird picture of him looking like he's doing the hustle at prom. I should find that stuff. You know, for blackmail.
