Team Chemistry

King Kaufman shows once again why he's the most interesting sports write around. Most sports writers take it for granted that "team chemistry" is something that exists and has tangible results on the field. Kaufman dares to challenge this notion. I don't pretend to know whether team chemistry exists or not, but seeing as it's not something that can be measured, I don't think we'll ever know.

Kobe and Shaq hated each other, yet one three championships together. Biggio and Bagwell have been great friends and teammates for well over a decade, but neither has a World Series title. That's all I'm saying.
