The 3-day weekend, cold 3-day weekend, cold 3-day weekend with relatives coming was a joke. As for all 8, where's your sense of humor? You're far too serious. And I think you're guilty of #6.

I like the trivia. But, like my polls, no one answers the questions.
I think DSL needs her own blog. That way, she can enforce the no sports rule. Maybe she can start posting on PH4H so that it's not overwhelmingly sports-oriented.

I haven't finished In Cold Blood, I plan on covering that topic when I finish.
Maybe I'll brainstorm for different kinds of quizzes.
Writing about the weekend and various things about the weekend isn't interesting and perhaps is better discussed via email.
The last three topics sound like opinions that could be used by someone else in their own blog, but the topics don't interest me.

I'm definitely guilty of number 6. My whole life is planned a month in advance because I get so many evites, and I like a little flexibility.
Perhaps if others starting posting on the PH4H blog...I don't have the courage to buck the sports trend alone.
