As you know by now, Shani Davis was the first African-American to win an individual gold medal in the winter olympics. But what the media keeps forgetting to tell you is that he was the first black person from any country to win an individual gold medal in the winter olympics.

I wish they would tell the full story.
But... that may cause some racist adverts to jump ship.
Lord knows they should not tell us when a black person achieves something!
That would require us to "rewrite" or speak history (truth)!
I think the Wash Post said first black, not first African American.
